With the trend toward high-density office spaces, keeping computer work stations and telephones clean and sanitized is becoming a larger concern for many offices.
While certain areas of offices are more prone to bacteria such as door handles, elevator buttons, reception areas, phones, computer keyboards and mice, desks can often be the worst offenders. A research study conducted by a microbiologist at the University of Arizona, Dr. Charles Gerba, found that an office desk can have almost 21,000 germs per square inch and phones has more than 25,000 germs per square inch.
ServiceMaster of Vancouver Commercial Services will work with you to provide a plan to clean computer keyboards, screens and telephone handsets to ensure all germs and bacteria are eliminated. The end result being a clean and healthy workplace for your staff.
We offer proprietary cleaning processes to keep your business running optimally, by effectively sanitizing and protecting computer and work stations.
In addition to dust accumulation that can damage a computer's delicate components, computers can be unhygienic hot spots for offices. Bacteria, viruses, skin flakes, oils and grime can collect on keyboards and monitor screens. Protect two of your most important assets—your employees and your computers—with regular cleaning by ServiceMaster of Vancouver Commercial Services.
Did you know?
Isn’t it hard to fix an area that is damaged on an acrylic floor? What if I drag a large piece of furniture across it and leave a scratch?
Acrylic finishes that are scratched can often be spray buffed or burnished so that the scratch is either less noticeable or repaired altogether. In many cases, applying a thin coat over the scratch is helpful. Call ServiceMaster of Vancouver Commercial Services professionals for an on-site consultation.
Are there instructions to follow after my hard-surface floors are cleaned?
Before you walk on your floors, it’s best to allow drying time of at least 4 hours but we recommend 8 hours. Be cautious and protect floors from getting wet for 24 hours after application of either finish as it is not yet thoroughly cured. You can return furniture to your floors (with suggested use of felt pads) after 24 hours and return rugs to floors after 24 hours.
What is antimicrobial surface protection and why do I need it?
What antimicrobial surface protection offers you is greater peace of mind. The science of antimicrobial surface protection has existed since the early 1970’s. Antimicrobial surface protection is a chemical solution that, when applied, molecularly bonds to surfaces and renders that surface inhospitable to microbes, which inhibits their growth. What this means, effectively, is that surfaces stay cleaner for longer!
